We are two friends living in Redmond, WA for 15 years with a Mechanical Engineering background. Every time we get together with friends, there is plenty of food but never an easy way to serve it for group. Either we use a small compartment plate with multiple servings or use oval plate and juggle with bowls. Any large dinner plate with compartments was either rectangle which did not feel elegant or was made of plastic. Finally one day we decided to use inspiration from stainless steel thali and designed it from biodegradable material. Result is practical, elegant design with a clear white color and large size. It allows serve food in one serving without mixing and does not require any additional bowls.
